About Me
- ~Katie
- I am a wife and daughter, sister and friend. I am a Social Worker, a child advocate, and a foster parent. I would like to think that others see me as open minded and I consider myself to be quite liberal and also a Catholic girl (yes, you can be both). I love watching and playing almost all sports. I love 'game night' with friends, Italian food, red wine and an ice cold beer. Most importantly, after years and years of trying to build my family, I am a MOMMY. We did not take the beaten path to our children however; we were placed on the road(s) less traveled. Our journey was long and complicated. It was the most challenging and the hardest, yet most beautiful experience I have endured. I have an incredibly strong faith in the Lord and know that this is all meant to be. This is our life and our story...and I love every minute of it (most of the time)!
